How did Hitler become so powerful?
This half term, the class will be reading, ‘The Boy in the Stripped Pajama’s by John Boyne. We will use this text to compare, plan and create our own persuasive text and recounts linked to events which took place in World War Two.This half term, the class will be reading, ‘The Boy in the Stripped Pajama’s by John Boyne. Important information
The children are expected to wear uniform as listed below:
Plain white shirt/blouse or polo shirt
Dark green sweater or cardigan
Dark grey trousers or skirt/pinafore (no jeans please)
Black sensible shoes
Summer alternatives for girls: green/white dress
Summer alternatives for boys: dark grey shorts.
PE
(Our P.E slots are Monday and Friday afternoons)
Parkour (Monday)
This half term, the children will develop their knowledge of ‘Parkour’. They will develop their balance when moving.
Football (Friday)
Children will use their knowledge of technique to suggest ways for peers to improve, they will use teaching points to pass, shoot and defend effectively.
P.E Kit (Children should come to school wearing the correct uniform)
Plain shorts (blue/black)
Plain jogging pants (blue black)
White vest or t-shirt
Jumper
Plimsolls/ clean trainers
Homework
Any written Homework (Maths, SPAG activities etc) is now to be completed in books. Homework is given out on a Friday and should be in by the following Wednesday. Please ensure that your presentation is the same high standard as your books in school Work should be completed in your best handwriting in either pencil or handwriting pen (if you have your licence). Coloured pencils for drawings but no felt tips please!
