Special Educational Needs (SEND)

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

At Meadow Farm, we believe that every child has the right to a high-quality education, care, and respect. We are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where all children feel safe, supported, and valued. We recognise that children learn best when they feel secure and confident, and we strive to create a learning atmosphere built on trust, encouragement, and mutual respect.

While all children may need support at times, some may require additional help during their school life. These children may be identified as having Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND), and we work collaboratively to ensure that their individual needs are met through tailored support and provision.

Our dedicated SEND team works closely with families, staff, and external professionals to ensure that every child receives the appropriate support to thrive both academically and emotionally.

If you would like more information about the SEND provision at Meadow Farm, please contact our Special Educational Needs and Disability team on 01332 662631 or email us at senco@meadowfarm.derby.sch.uk.
