Year 3 - Alison Hargreaves
Welcome to the class page of Year 3. Our class is named after Alison Hargreaves an explorer that has climbed some of the largest peaks in the whole world. The resilience, determination and perseverance that she has shown throughout her life are traits that are vitally important to us in the classroom so she is the ideal person for us to learn from.

Summer Term
This term our topic will be the Marvellous Mayans. We will be looking at this Ancient Civilisation and exploring how these people lived.
Spring Term

Autumn Term
Earlier this year, during the Autumn term, we learnt about Rivers and Mountains as well as the Rainforest. We had a great time and we learnt a lot about the world that we live in. Take a look at the images below to see what we got up to.

Homework
All homework is set on a Friday and is expected to be returned the following Thursday. Every week a Reading, Maths and Spelling task is set. There is also an expectation that children read at least 3 times a week. All homework will be linked to work that we have been doing in class.
